What Causes Protein In Urine Along With Nausea And Fatigue?
I am a 24 yr old female and I m at a loss.. I ve exhausted all my options.. I feel hopeless.. 2 yrs ago next month I gave birth to my son. The Dr s began finding protein in my urine. I was referred to a nephrologist they determined I was losing kidney function.. as time passed the protein in my urine started to drop and my kidney function began going up and they associated it with the pregnancy.. I began living a normal life again until my gallbladder flared up and was removed.. I then began living a normal life again. Until 5 months ago the ached and pains and nausea and fatigue began coming back. I went to my Dr who found I have protein and blood in my urine once again.. I was referred to a urologist who preformed a ct scan today and stuck a scope into my bladder.. he said he found nothing.. but yet I still have all this protein and blood in my urine and still feel these aches and pains and fatigue.. and now I m back at square one.. the found no infection, no stones, and no cysts or tumors.. but since they found nothing it s like they are giving up on finding the cause of the blood and protein.. my Dr told me today my ureters in my kidneys could be leaking it into my urine.. but yet they won t try and find the cause?!?!?!
It would be hard to say for sure what the cause is without seeing all your history and test results, but one thing I would make sure you are checked for is lupus since this can often cause kidney problems, as well as joint pains and fatigue.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
