What Causes Protruding Veins That Looks Bruised?
I had a vein suddenly protrude quite a great deal yesterday evening. It kind of looked like I had a big earthworm under my skin. It became quite painful and is now bruised. I iced it and it went down but is still very tender and there is a hard spot.

The symptoms suggest of Varicose veins.It is the condition wherein there is dilatation of superficial veins.it most commonly occurs in leg veins.
It is not a serious condition.
You can use stockings to decrease the swelling.If pain starts you need to get operated.Be careful not to injure yourself on these spots.
