Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I take 50 mg tramadol for severe pain, as well as 80 mg aspirin and synthroid for my thyroid. I want to know what’s causing a lot of puffiness under my eyes for the last 6 months. Last week my doctor checked my thyroid and liver enzymes and said everything looks good. What’s causing them to get so puffy? .
The most common causes of eye puffiness are: 1. Hypothyroidism. 2. Kidney function problems. 3. Allergic reactions. So, I recommend that you check your kidney functions by doing: Creatinine, urea, Na and K level.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Mahmoud Abouibrahim
