What Causes Pulling Sensation And Intense Pain Upon Moving Leg After Injury?

I recently fell out of a car during a stunt, I landed on my feet but momentum pulled me down and I hit my shoulder. I was fine and did not see a doctor. It s been like four or five days now and I cannot lift my leg upward toward my body. There s a pulling sensation when I lift my leg with my hands and the pain is pretty intense. Could this be a torn ligament?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It can be a torn ligaments or just a muscle injury. You should have been at rest for some days and use ibuprofen as anti-inflammatory drug. Having rest will help it. Use warm compresses and ibuprofen.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
