Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
i have had this nose in my ear for nearly 2 years now its either a buzzing or pulsng noise in time with my heartbeat very loud also get a shaky feeling in my head if i turn my head to the left side the noise is worse i have been told this is pulsatile tinnitus but fear this could be something more.
It might be that you are having a pulsatile tinnitus. It might also be good to have a heart ultrasound to make sure that all is well with the heart and possibly an ultrasound of the carotid arteries in the neck.
If all is well with them and your blood pressure is normal and ear exam is normal as well and you have no neurological signs, then very likely this is a pulsatile tinnitus, it is bothersome but not dangerous or something to worry.
I hope I have answered to your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards, Antoneta Zotaj, General & Family Physician
