What Causes Pulsating Sensation In Temple And Heart Palpitation?

I have had a pulsating throbbing in my left temple for about a week now. I ve been to the E.R. 3 times and the final diagnoses was a Sinus infection. After finishing the antibiotic, I still have tightening in the left side of face, strong rapid heart beats and sensitivity to light. Something tells me this is not Sinusitis

Hello,

Usually anxiety and stress do have the symptoms you provided here. anxiety can cause high or raised heart beat and feeling of tightness or pulse on the tight skin of face. Still, for your confirmation, you should talk to your doctor too.

Therefore I suggest consulting a physician for physical examination, diagnosis and treatment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. K. V. Anand
