What Causes Pulsating Sensation In The Lower Left Side Of The Torso?

I have had a painless quiver/pulsing sensation in my lower left side of my torso. Does this sound like something I could let go because it could just be a muscle spasm or should I see a Dr. because the it could be something serious. Please know I have never felt this before and I am a 31yr old female.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms you describe do sound like a muscle spasm, and at your age any serious heart or lung issues would be very uncommon. I would try to rest for a while and hopefully, it will go away, but I definitely don't think you need to see a doctor for it at this point.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Aaron Branch,
