What Causes Pulsation In The Face And Fatigue In The Left Arm After A Whiplash?

I can feel my pulse in my bottom lip. My BP was 144/88 7 hrs ago and is now 110/58. I have pretty bad fatigue down my left arm since I was rear ended last March resulting in whiplash. Is the pulsation in my face, fluctuation in BP and arm fatigue all r/t the whiplash?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

The pulsation in the face and fatigue in left arm, following a Whiplash may be an alarming sign of underlying nerve injury affecting facial nerve or other brachial plexus contents. Kindly consult your GP for immediate primary evaluation of the neurology system and if required he or she may refer you to expert neurologist for further evaluation and management guidelines.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
