What Causes Pulsation Sensation In The Abdominal Area?

I can see my pulse in the middle of my abdomen. Sometimes it s so vigorous I feel my whole chest is moving. I m an Asian woman, 78 years old, moderately active, not getting the best sleep the last few nights. Have had the test that checks the aorta about five years ago, was having strong beats then, too, but a regular missed beat. Wore a holster for 24 hours. It s gone back to normal as I was typing this. Will probably come back when I start cooking again. I m feeling a bit tired. I see my doctor for annual check in August. Okay?

Hi
Dear Madam
Abdominal pulsations are felt by normally by lean people and can occur in patients with aortic abdominal aneurysm.missed beats at your age could be due to atrial febrilation which is common at this age, however it can be eaily detected with ECG and abdominal ultrasound will detect if there is any aortic abnormality.
