What Causes Pulsations On The Right Side Of The Neck?
The right side of my neck is pulsing quite hard. There is no visible vein showing, but it is causing quite a bit of discomfort with an occasional pain near the collarbone for a few seconds. It started yesterday as I got into bed and laid down. It goes from the collarbone on the left side, all the way up to my right ear.

What Causes Pulsations On The Right Side Of The Neck?
Hello, I think it may be carotid pulsations which are normal. Pulsation is more prominent on exertion, fever, cardiac issue. Kindly follow with a detailed history. In that case consult with a physician, otherwise, it s normal. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Shyam B. Kale, General & Family Physician
