What Causes Purple Bruise Under The Lower Back And Breast While Having Scoliosis?
Hi I am 51 year old female. March of this year I discovered a purple bruise on my lower spine. I also have three other blemishes light purple one on and below my breast and one now below my belly button. I am currently seeing a physical therapist for back pain. I was diagnosed 6 weeks ago w scoliosis.
Since you have a purple bruise below the breast, visit the ER. Get physically examined to rule out any lump or inflammation, any signs of developing cancer.
Stay away from addictions if any. Stop taking medications like Aspirin or blood thinners (anticoagulants) that may cause sudden increase in bruising. Get evaluated, get thorough medical health check up done. Get treated at the earliest. Your treatment will depend upon the pathology detected.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
