What Causes Purple Colored Bruise Behind The Legs?

My daughter had her 16 week injections yesterday and since small purple pin prick bruise like dots have appeared under her skin behind one of her legs. We took her to a&e and they said as she has no other symptoms they are not concerned but they did not know what they were. Any idea what they could be?

I appreciate your health concern fr your daughter.
The small dot like lesions you are mentioning are petechial heamorrhages which is due to bleeding from small vessel.it can occur due to small trauma or excessive pressure on a tissue.As your daughter just had a shot of injection,the reason most probably is due to trauma.But o be on safe sde just run a complete blood count of your daughter to check number f platelets.if these are in normal range,you dont have anything to worry about the.
