It could be of great help if you would send a photo of that large, purple, yellow, green
bruise to evaluate the changes myself. To explain a few more things, when we hit against something (object), often it is a bruise forming there, first it is purple, then after a few more days it becomes yellow-green.
If there is a lump there, definitely there is a blood clot, We do recommend to use
cold compresses when you first get hit (for the first 48 hours). Then, we do recommend alternating warm and cold compresses to help disperse the accumulated blood, preventing infection. So, at this point, I advise to apply alternating warm and cold compresses for a couple of days. If still no improvement, should apply
heparin gel locally.
