What Causes Pus Cells In The Urine?

Hi doctor I was diagnosed with uti pus cells 7 to 8 /jpg and RBC 10 to 15 Usually I drink lot of water.i am on enhancin 1g and have fever for last 4 days( ranging from 99.8 to 102) Ultrasound kub shows normal My urine was given for culture Is the pus cells count very high? What may be the reason for fever not coming down inspite of antibiotics and paracetamol? Thanks

Pus cells are due to infection along anywhere in your urinary tract. Do a culture and sensitivity test to choose most appropriate antibiotic. You might require intravenous antibiotic therapy for a week.
Check your blood sugar level to rule out diabetes which can cause recurrent UTI(urinary tract infection).
