What Causes Pus Discharge From Inner Cheek Despite Taking Folic Acid And Betadine?

i have white pus from left cheek inside mouth for one week and today the color of pus turned yellowish. I have small packets in the right cheek seem to have white liquid and white patche in the left cheek inside. in April this year i visited a doctor, i had tonsils pain that time and mouth ulcer to. doctor told it was mouth ulcer and TMJ both. he suggested me antibiotics and folic acid tablets and betadine gorgle. tonsils improved but pus is coming out from cheek or gum. i have tobacco chewing habbit. please suggest me what should i do?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that the pus discharge is not from the cheek but from the gums and as it is on both sides so it can be due to most commonly infection in the area of wisdom tooth that is between the gum flap and tooth..

It is the most probable cause..

If it is from the cheek it can be due to infection in salivary gland and pus discharge from the duct opening.

I would suggest you to consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like x ray can help in diagnosis and treated accordingly..

As of now continue with betadine gargles, do warm saline gargles also..
You can continue with antibiotics after proper diagnosis and ruling out of infection..
