What Causes Pus Filled Blister On Lip?

I have an 18 month old boy. I noticed a puss filled blister on his lip earlier today. Now the skin around it is getting red and irritated. I don't know where he might have got it but I'm worried it is a cold sore and he will have to deal with it for the rest of his life.

Welcome to HCM
It is just Impetigo , which is staphyloccocal infection of skin.
Local application of Mupirocin is all that is required.
Keep the area clean and dry and apply Mupirocin ointment.
