What Causes Pus Filled Lumps Around The Testicles?
So I just shaved my lower area and I have a bump on my right side of my balls i squeeze it because I thought it was a pimple little bit of puss came out but not very much it s bleeding on the side but I do believe that s from my razor I am sexually active but have not had sex in 2 months it s not hard more of a soft pimple
Unhygienic conditions, sweat, moisture and wet undies trigger bumps, fungal infection. Shaving lotions and razors can also cause infection. Seems your hair follicle got blocked leading to clogged hair pores resulting in pimple with pus formation. You need to bathe every day and get your pubic area cleaned so that pimple do not develop.
Since you are sexually active, you can take STD tests to stay on the safer side. If tests come positive, you will be treated with antibiotics and antivirals. Keep your private area clean and dry and you can apply Clotrimazole or Hydrocortisone ointment in the affected area for relief.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
