What Causes Pus Filled Painful Lump On The Back Of Head?
Hello, I got a big lump pimple on back of head in my hair and hurts like hell. My mom got some pus out but there is still more in there. I take a shower everyday, what causes this? I ve been taking excedrin and cleaning with alchol pads to keep in clean. How do I make the pain go away?

i can understand your concern.
its an abscess which requires drainage. this might have been caused by a folliculitis leading to the abscess formation.(hair follicle infection)
sice you have mention the abscess has been completely drained continue doin sterile dressing with povidone iodine(betadine).
excedrin is a good pain killer ,this can also be continued.
kindly take an antibiotic such as aumentin twice daily for five days. this would cure the infection.
