Hello,
Yes, it is a cause of concern. You and your partner were not tested positive for STD last year. You are suggested to get clinically examined by a gynecologist or a
urologist. You with your partner should do a repeat STD test done to rule out any
sexually transmitted disease. Avoid wearing tight synthetic clothes. Since you have pus filled sores, stop doing Yoga for a couple of days as any friction will cause pain, irritation, discharge of the pus filled sores and spread of infection.
Do not share your toiletries with anyone. Wash your clothes in Savlon and hot water frequently. Do not touch, prick or scratch. Maintain hygiene, take bath regularly. Keep your private are clean and do not douche. Wear loose fitting, soft cotton clothes. Applying a warm, moist compress to the area affected three to four times per day is helpful.
You can take
Naproxen or
Combiflam, one stat after food to reduce pain, inflammation and soreness. You can take a course of antibiotic like doxycycline-100. Avoid self pleasuring and sex for a couple of days till you heal. You will be treated with antivirals /antibiotics if STDs is detected. You can apply ointment
Soframycin on the area affected for relief. If
staphylococcus (staph) infection is detected you will be relieved if not you can apply ointment
Acyclovir.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
