What Causes Pyuria And Lower Abdominal Pain During Intercourse?
Hi Dr. Rynne, my boyfriend has had lower abdominal pain for years and sometimes low back pain. Intercourse seems to make it worse, but is not always the cause. Has tried diet changes etc. Also has pus when urinating at times. He has been diagnosed with some type of pseudonymous. No Dr has been able to come up with a certain dx. That s it in a nutshell I believe. Thanks Erica.

Pyuria & pain during sex can be seen in urethritis. Treatment of urethritis consists of an antibiotic/pain medicines depending on the type of infection.
Please consult a urologist for specific investigations & suitable drugs.
