What Causes Quivering Of Lips While Making A Speech?
When I'm stood in front of people making a speech, I feel as if my top lip is quivering. It's not something I do intentionally, I don't think it's too noticeable but I asked one of my friends pointed it out to me. I'm usually fine in most situations - even if they are in front of audiences, however speeches seem to get to me. I know it could just be the result of anxiety, is this the case or is there another explanation?
Quivering of lips while making a speech is sign of anxiety. In that case, you need some antidepressant like paroxetine or propranalol or benzodiazepine that could decrease underline anxiety. You can also try relaxation exercise, that would control somatic symptoms at time of anxiety. Better to consult a psychiatrist or psychologist for proper treatment.
Thanks
