What Causes Racy Heart And Problem In Breathing?
a lot for the past week to two weeks I have noticed my heart racing fast and breathing hard what is the causes of that? Also I am bipolar and has had some mood swing by getting upset and raising my voice, should I increase my Depakote or can I change to tegratol and try something new.

Anxiety is a very common occurence in patients of bipolar disorder. You most likely have episodes of the same. a low dose anxiolytic can help like a lorazepam in small divided doses. also make sur that your illness is not switching to either manic or depressive pole. in that case, lithium needs consideration in prescription. also, get your thyroid checked, it is commonly found to be imbalanced in mood disorders and will warrant treatment, if so.
