Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Radiating Pain From The Base Of The Head To Temple?
I have horrible pain at the base of my head the feels like it goes all the way through to my temple, I also had it in my right eye. This only happens on the right side. I went to an ear, nose, and throat doctor and he said it had nothing to do with that. I hurt sometimes to the point of passing out, I never know when the severe pain comes but I always have the pain.
Thank you for sharing your query on Healthcaremagic, I have carefully worked through your case and probably you have a neuralgic process, you got a physical and everything looks good and you are experiencing a local pain on one side of the head and irradiated to your nose, ear and eye that mean that you have an irritation or injury to the nerves I think you should be to talk with your doctor about it, at this moment I advice you some anti-inflammatory and pain killers treatment ( OTC ) some good massage and avoid excessive neck movements. I hope that my advice has been helpful, take care
