Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Radiating Pain In Chest Through My Breast?
I am a 46 year old female. In the last half hour I have developed pain that is radiating through my breasts and up into my chest. It is not a constant pain, but is coming and going. I have tried to take an anti-acid and I have taken some aspirin also. The pain is actually worse on my right breast than my left. I have upper back pain in between my shoulder blades.
The pain seems to be due to heartburn or indigestion only. As you have already taken an antacid and aspirin, I would like to advise you to wait for some time for the medicines to reach effective blood level and start effects. You can combine 10 ml of Digene syrup (Magnesium Hydroxide 185 mg + Sodium Carboxymethycellulose 100 mg + Aluminium Hydroxide 830 mg) with it to have relief in indigestion.
Stay light on diet today. Avoid spices and acidic food. Have 2 hours of gap between dinner and sleeping and you should be fine.
However, if pain worsens, you might need to visit a physician for physical examination and further investigations. I hope the information helps. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. Take care.
Best, Dr. Viraj Shah
