General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

You are probably having osteoarthritis according to mentioned history. You can be prescribed collagen producing and repair inducing drugs like for Osteoarthritis. However if knee osteoarthritis is severe degree grade than knee joint replacement remain the last choice of treatment.

The severity decided after study of X-rays and clinical examination.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami, General & Family Physician
