Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Radiating Pain In Lower Back And Hip While Sleeping?
I am experiencing lower back pain, very shooting pain running across to my hip area... pain worsens when I lay down..... in bed extreme pain when I move from back to side, and again more pain when I move from side to side..... during waking hours, working physically, no pain at all....
I have gone through your history and I am of the opinion that you seem to be suffering from strain involving the muscles or ligaments.
It usually subsides with bed rest over a period of time. Take some non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs like ibuprofen or aceclofenac for immediate relief.
If you do not get relief then you should consult with your doctor for clinical assessment and treatment.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Mohammed Taher Ali, General & Family Physician
