What Causes Radiating Pain In Upper Left Quadrant And Back After A Laparoscopy?
Hi... doctor... I m Mutahara Hassaan... May grandmother is done with laparoscopic cholesyctectomy on monday... but now she z presented with severe back pain in left upper quadrant radiating towards right... even pain killer injections and ineffective on her... She is also presenting with high blood pressure... I have checked it know and it s about 180/124 What is its cause?? Is it due to some sort of inflammation in stomach or intestines or any other complications??? Her ultrasound reports are well... I shall b very grateful to u if u help me in this regard.. thanks
Hi Thanks for posting on HCM The symptoms you describe may be caused by her high BP.Malignant hypertension is possible after after a surgery given her BP value.This type of BP value may always be accompanied by abdominal pain due to "suffering" of abdominal viscera.It is a hypertensive emergency that should be handled immediately by an expert.The opinion of the Cardiologist will be very important here.
