What Causes Raised And Itchy Bumps On The Back?

I have these bumps on my back that are raised and very itchy. They are not blistering or painful just very itchy. I really do not want to go to the er for them if I don t have to they started out in a lil area and now they are spreading down my back how any ideas

Since they are not painful or blistering, this makes an infection like chicken pox unlikely.

Other common possible causes of itchy rash include allergic reaction or fungal infection.
There are other causes but these are not as common.

You may want to consider the use of an oral antihistamine and topical steroid cream such as hydrocortisone.
Both of these should be available over the counter.

if there is no improvement then you would need to see your doctor for assessment.
