What Causes Raised Itchy Rash On The Torso?

I have a rash on my torso. It is raised, thick, round, itchy, and scaly. It has grown and started itching after putting neosporin on it and now won't stop. I have discontinued the use of neosporin and now use an itch cream. It has spread to other areas of my body. This has happened before, had one large rash and several small rashes. I don't know what this could be.

As per your complain a thick, raised, round and itchy rash over the torso seems to be most probably Eczematous Dermatitis or Eczema and can occur due to bacterial or fungal infection, dry skin etc

I would suggest you to consult a Dermatoogist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like microscopic examination of scraping from the lesion and blood tests can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..

You can be advised to keep the area moist by using emollients..
You can be advised to apply steroid ointment over it..
A combination of antibacterial and antifiungal ointment can be advised..
You can also be given anti allergic medications..
Keep the area dry and clean and avoid wearing tight clothes..
