Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a shiny pink spot less than one centimeter wide on my thigh that I first noticed two weeks ago It is raised but so slightly I can t tell by looking, I have to feel it with my finger and even then I can barely tell. It doesn t itch or hurt at all and it is not hard or scaly. Hydrocortisone makes it feel numb for a few seconds, but it does not go away and it has gotten something bigger. It does not cause any discomfort at all. Should I be concerned?
As there is increase in the size of the spot I suggest you to take 1. Biopsy test of the spot and complete blood count test 2. Consult the dermatologist for further ruling out of the disease and Treatment
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Indhu Priyadharshini, General & Family Physician
