What Causes Random Aches In Head And Shoulders?

Hello, I ve been getting random pains throughout my head, and tingling sensations, they aren t too bad and each one only lasts a few seconds. I also have pain in my left shoulder/upper arm and today I started getting a pain and twitching behind my left ear. I do have chronic low back and hip pain. I was rear ended last week, it wasn t enough to go to the hospital at the time but my upper back and neck did hurt from the impact. My upper back does hurt. Are these head and shoulder pains probably related to the accident? I will also get really hot at times and start sweating. I just freak out that I m going to have a stroke or heart attack, that it s something serious.... I need to stop Googling stuff..

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

It could be a simple musculoskeletal pain.

As a first line management, you can take analgesics like Aceclofenac or Tramadol for pain relief.

If symptoms persist better to consult an orthopedician and get an MRI scan done.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
