What Causes Random Bruises On The Stomach?

Hi dr I m a little concerned, I have 4 bruises on my stomach that have popped up in the last few days! Started with one about size of nickel , with tiny bump, then came three more smaller ones! I haven t had any accidents that would of injured my stomach! I do bruise easy but when I bang into something. Just wondering if I should worry, I am a 75 female, Thank you Carol

Dont worry.

I think your condition occurs due your age. Because elderly skin become thinner and prone to develop bruise in minor trauma.

Possibilities of this type of condition are-
1.Platelet disorder
2.Bleeding disorder
3.Elderly

My advise is visit a doctor.
Do blood test to exclude the other causes.

you can try cold compression, give rest, if pain use painkiller like aceclofenac, ketorolac etc.
