What Causes Rapid Heart Rate After Knee Replacement Surgery?
I was on oxycodone (5mg-2 every 4 hours) for 7 weeks following bilateral knee replacement. I turned anexoric immediately, lost 20 pounds in 4 weeks, had rash, pounding heart, dizziness, severe constipation severe dry mouth, and digestive issues. It took months to recover, and I still have digestive issues as well as dry month -- I have been off for 5 months. Will these issues ever resolve or has someything permenant happened to me? Any help would be appreciated!
Hello, I have studied your case. I am not sure if these symptoms are related to surgeries. Most common cause I can think of is anemia. That can be caused by blood loss and poor nutrition. So I would suggest you to get your blood work done and find out if there is low haemoglobin or low blood count. You should also see if there is any infection like raised ESR or CRP. I would also like to encourage you to take increase iron diet and also tomato, papaya and spinach. I hope this answer will be useful for you. Let me know if there is any other followup questions. thanks
