What Causes Rapid Heart Rate Along With Anxiety Attacks?
Since about 7-8 months ago I ve been having some difficulties with my health. I would have these super super bad attacks where my heart rate would go up to 160-180 I would rush into the emergency room and every doctor would like to tell me I have anxiety or panic attacks. I saw a very good counselor for awhile and she said I do not have anxiety or panic attacks. I ve seen multiple emergency rooms, and ever since this has started I m very tired I have no energy. My parents knew something was wrong and daily I face; always having a fast fast heart rate. Cannot drink caffeine or eat unhealthy foods and can t exercise. I had a heart monitor on that my clinic in my home town did for me and they got my heart going 155 while sleeping and it always going way fast. I have chest pain constantly, always feel like a 600 pound person is sitting on me and issues breathing badly. I have a heart dr appointment in Portland, OR in two months away and I don t know if I can wait that long. I m not the normal teenager anymore and going through this is miserable for me so I was wondering what your opinion would be.
I can understand you are going through symptoms that need treatment & medical aid. It is good to know that you have an appointment for a total cardiac check up. Presently, you can cut of carbohydrate & sugar to get control of your weight (you have not mentioned your weight here). You need not do strenuous exercises since your heart rate is already high. Walk daily in the morning as well as in the evening.
Take fruits, berries & food cooked in olive oil. You are suggested to visit ER, get your vitals & routine general examination done so that symptomatic treatment can be done to help you get relieve from your discomforts. This is not the time to stay at home, get checked up by a GP. Avoid food that may cause gas, acid reflux triggers chest discomforts. You can take antacids & PPI's after consultation with your health care provider for relieve.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
