Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
HI DOC,AM 31 WEEKS AND DURING MY FIRST TRIMESTER I STARTED BLEEDING WHEN I WENT TO THE HOSPITAL MY DOC ORDERED ME TO DO E.C.G AND ECHO WHICH I DID THEN I WAS PUT ON MEDICATION FOR 3MONTHS,THE CARDIO DOC TOLD ME THAT I HAVE TUCK CARDIA. I JST WANT TO KNOW WHAT CAUSE THE FAST HEART RATE AND IF I WILL HAVE A SAFE DELIVERY
I passed carefully through your question and would explain that there are many causes of fast heart rate like anxiety, physical activity, anaemia, thyroid gland dysfunction, electrolyte imbalances or any possible cardiomyopathy.
For this reason, I would recommend performing some blood lab tests to investigate for these possible causes and a new cardiac ultrasound before delivery, in order to be sure that everything is going to be OK.
I would be glad to review all your test reports for a second professional opinion.
Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka,
Cardiologist
