I seem to be rapidly gaining weight although I have always been thin. I have not changed my eating habits. If anything I have really been trying to diet. I have put on 15 pounds in the past four months. I am always tired. Sometimes when I don t have to be at work I will stay in bed until 10 in the morning. I am trying to get on the treadmill at least 4 times a week. very concerned about weight gain. any suggestions?

I recommend you get a blood test for TSH, T3 and T4 levels and based on the results, you should see an endocrinologist. If you are female and close to menopause, hormonal changes could also be the answer to your weight gain. If none of these do not explain your condition, I recommend you get a full check up and blood and urine tests for further investigation.
