HI,My son is 19 years old and has been steadily loosing weight - he has lost 40 lbs in less than a year and has not real appetite. Constantly doesn t feel well and fatigued - although his blood work has been coming out ok - any suggestions on what it might be?
Hello It is very common in this age group. Teenagers tend to skip meals, or not having adequate nutrition is the main cause. You should council your son regarding any stress or problem he is suffering. Also, give tab cyproheptadine(10) twice daily before food, which will increase his appetite.
