What Causes Rapid Weight Loss While Taking Cambimazole And Propranolol For Thyroid?
hey good day doctors......i have an over active thyroid for about three years now...im on 5 mg of carbimazole and 20 mg of propranalol once daily....it seems to be working....but im concerned with my rapid weight loss....i went from a 110 to 98.......i red a few times about the depo provera shot sending u hypothyroid which will cause u to gain weight....am i right? besides can i take the shot and will it level my thyrroid hormone or send me hypo? im tierd of being hyperthyroid...

I strongly recommend you to follow your doctor's recommendations and not to do other. Low weight means that you thyroid status is not normal yet and needs to continue the treatment.
