What Causes Rash All Over The Body During Pregnancy?
I am about to lose my mind. I m 15 weeks pregnant and developed a rash almost two weeks ago that covers my body and nothing will help. My OBGYN even gave me a Medrol dose pack which did not help. He did blood tests and my liver is fine. Now he says to see a dermatologist!!! He doesn t think its PUPP. Any clue??
thank you for posting your query in healthcaremagic.com....
first of all, dont panic or lose your mind...a medrol pack not helping does not mean that you have a very severe disease....your GYANECOLOGIST has aptly asked you to see a DERMATOLOGIST... see in pregnancy, utmost care of every problem should be taken...and thats why, he has asked you to visit a dermatologist so that the proper diagnosis is made as early as possible and treatment is started....
before stamping the case as PUPP one needs to check the nature of the lesions, their distribution and extent... so i would also suggest you to see a DERMATOLOGIST for further management...
hope this was helpful... regards
