What Causes Rash All Over The Body With Red Bumps?

My son has had a rash show up randomly, mostly all over his body in the last couple days. He is fine one moment and the next this rash shows up. The area is red with light colored bumps and is hot to the touch. He says its a bit itchy too. Benadryl seems to help a bit. I can't think of any food or anything in his environment that has changed other than what appeared to be few tiny bug/spider bites. What should I do?

Hello.

I went through your son's history and would like to make following suggestions:

1. As per your observation, bug/spider bites can cause his bumps.

2. I would suggest him an antihistamine like levocetirizine for 3 days to him.

3. I would also suggest him application of a lotion like calamine to itchy areas.

Hope above suggestions will be helpful to him.
