What Causes Rash On The Face, Similar To A Sunburn?
My husband has a red rash that looks like a sunburn. It I only on his neck and face, on the right side. It is warm to the touch, not raised, and is not itchy or painful. It looks exactly like a sunburn. Even on his face, there appears to be an outline of sunglasses.
Understanding your concern. As per your query your husband have symptoms of rashes on face similar to sunburn which seems o be due to allergic reaction , side effect , result of sensitivity to sunlight . eczema or psoriasis. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to keep your face clean and dry , protect it from sun , take benadryl twice a day and apply petroleum jelly . If condition doesn't get well then consult dermatologist for proper . Doctor may order skin patch test , blood test along with allergy test. Doctor may prescribe immunosuppressants , antibacterial or antifungal depending upon the diagnosis. Doctor may also refer you to allergy specialist for allergy test .
