What Causes Rash Under Arms And Breasts After Changing To Janumet From Diabex?

I have been prescribed coversyl 5mg also changed my diabete s medication to Janumet 50mg x 2 per day I have come out in rash under my arms under my breasts seems to be in all the hot areas of my body, my head & arms etc.? was taking diabex xr 1000 before the change & coversyl 2.5mg wondering if these changes could be the problem Thankyou

This is Dr Amit. In my opinion Janumet (metformin and sitagliptin) don't causes rash. Diabex also contins metformin and you were taking it earler also without any problem.
According to me main culprit over here is increased dose of from coversyl 2.5mg to coversyl 5mg and it can very well cause tching muscle cramps ,nausea, paraesthesiae, skin rash or rashes etc.
So i will advice you to consult your doctor regarding the problem and ask him/her to decrese the dose or change with any other suitable formula
