What Causes Rashes All Over Body And Pain In Right Knee?
I started out with a rash on my hands, next day I couldn t stand because of my right knee. The rash comes in more in the evening and seems better in the morning. I s on my knees, arms legs stomach almost every where except my face. I can walk but I m still having a pulling in my leg and lot of pain in knee. This has been going on for six weeks now. Still using cane, started out with a walker. My doctor thought it was a reaction to z pack that I was on. Now I just don t know, who should I be seeing? A rheumatologist or a dermatologist?
As per your case history, you are suffering from viral exanthema.
My treatment advice is: 1. Do not scratch the lesion as it may worsen the condition. 2. Apply a soothing lotion like Calamine lotion on affected region twice daily. 3. Take an antihistamine medicine like Levocetrizine twice daily for 7 to 10 days. 4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics, oral steroid taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
