Hi.I have a 2yr old daughter and she has not been well for a while now. She started with conjunctivitis on the Thursday, then appeared to be getting chesty for the rest of the weekend. Vomited once on the monday night and a rash appeared on her right check the following day. She started spiking temperatures since. I took her to the drs on tuesday. He checked her out. Said her chest was clear but would prescribe antibiotic eyedrops for the conjunctivitis and a cough mixture. When asked about the rash he looked at it and said its just dry skin. She looks pale with sunken eyes, not eating and drinking much but plays happily and is not lethargic in any way. She has however not slept well at night waking up and moaning. Then today (Wednesday) I went to change her nappy and the rash has spread all over her body. It is red and flat and looks a bit like sunburn in some regions. Very hot to touch. She dosnt like me touching it as she says its sore. She also is extremely red in the nappy area with her vagina being the worst. Dont know what to do as gp didnt seem that concerned when I showed him the rash on tuesday.
