General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Rashes all over the body commonly occurs due to atopic dermatitis, contact dermatitis, scabies, allergy due to some medicines or food (fish, seafood, soy, peanuts, etc). Avoid food or medicine that causes allergy. Avoid addictions if any. Maintain your hygiene, do not share your bedding or toiletries. Take showers daily or twice daily. You can apply ointment hydrocortisone in the area affected. Take non sedating antihistamines, once daily for 5-7 days.

If it is scabies, apply Ascabiol ointment all over the affected area, wait for 40 minutes & take bath. Repeat after 20 days. If you do not get relieve get clinically examined by a dermatologist, get blood tests, skin biopsy done, get treated at the earliest. If sexually active you may have to get STD tests done to satay on the safer side.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
