Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have had an server rash breakout all over my body especially in the injection site from getting facette injections in my cervical spine Tuesday afternoon. I believe it to be an alergic reaction to the lidocaine. I am looking for a solution or cure or something to hold me over until my doctors appointment in the am.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have rashes all over the body, Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like angiomas , acne , allergic , eczema , psoriasis and scabies . I would suggest you to maintain proper hygiene , take anti histamine like bendryl and avoid applying any cosmetic . Apply only petroleum jelly , do not apply any hard cosmetic and prevent your skin from sun rays. Consult dermatologist for proper examination . Doctor may order skin test or allergy test along with blood test . Doctor may prescribe immunosuppressants along with antibiotics and anti inflammatory and corticosteroid ointment .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
