What Causes Rashes And Burning Sensation In The Body?
My 28 year old son has a rash that occurs in different spots everyday. Raised red blotches that itch and have a burning sensation. He has also been experiencing joint pain and swollen ankles and feet. The doctor sent him to an allergist, she did several blood tests. Has some common allergies, no arthritis. He put him on Cingular, but it is not helping. Any thoughts on what it could be or what specialist he should go to?
Hello, my name is Dr.Dorina Gurabardhi. I understand your concern. Some reasons that cause itchy rashes are dermatitis, eczema, allergy etc.So after seeing a allergist you should see also a dermatologist. Some advices that I can give to you are: -Apply olive Oil. Extra-virgin olive oil works as a great skin moisturizer, facilitates healing and promotes skin renewal as it is rich in vitamin E and antioxidants. -Baking Soda. Baking soda helps dry out skin rashes. -Apply Aloe Vera. -Cold Compress. -Aplyy Apply Cider Vinegar diluted with water. -use calamine lotion -use hydrocortisone cream Hope my answer was helpful, if you have any other questions I'll be glad to help, thanks!
