My 5 year old son has a rash on the corner of his mouth and lips and seems to be spreading some to the cheek. He has already had hand foot and mouth disease and the rash is not present on his hands and feet. I ve heard that you can only have that once. Is that true?

hello sir,it's true that hand foot mouth disease rarely recur again in the patient but possibility is there...more likely it is recurrence as classical symptoms and site of rashes....start ibuprofen for symptoms and adequate rest with proper diet....viral culture can be diagnostic..
