What Causes Rashes In A Baby?

Hi my one year old has had a fever for a day and a half.. Took him to the ER when it reached 102.8 yesterday morning at 5 am.. However the fever has since broke.. But now he has a splotchy reddish rash on his tummy, neck and face.. What is causing this.. Is it a fever rash???

Hi,
Thank you for asking question on health care magic.
Most probably it may be measles.
On the 4th day of fever rash develops first on the neck and face and then spreads to the entire body.
It is self liming and passes off within 10 days.
If there is associated itching any antihistaminic syrup may help.
