What Causes Rashes, Itching, Night Sweats, Sore Throat, Fever After Taking Keflex?

Hi I recently was given Keflex for a skin infection complicated with lymphadenitis. after about 7 days, I started to develop a rash on my chest and back. While on the antibiotic, I developed viral like symptoms, night sweats. sore throat, achiness, and low grade fever. the skin rash is itchy, bumpy, and quite extensive. any idea what might be going on?

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hello
there can be two reasons that i can think of
first one is that the rash is a drug reaction and you may have to change your medications!
second one is that you have developed a viral infection, which will subside in 6-7 days.
however i would like you to meet your doctor as soon as possible , so that you can be treated early!
thanks
